Summer Waves

Is it really the middle of August? Ok so as summer wraps up my mom and dad took our annual back to school summer trip. Granted none of us are going back to school we still loaded up the coolers, sunscreen, towels, and teething cookies and headed out. Usually we end the summer at Itchatucknee springs but we wanted to include Rayleigh on the trip so we voted for summer waves in Jekyll Island instead. Let me just tell you that after Saturday little miss may never be the same. That poor baby was worn slap out. Her and nana spent most of their time in the splash park and Rayleigh had a blast. Since everything goes straight to the mouth these days you best believe she tried out all the fountains. I thought there was nothing my child didn't eat but it turns out chlorine is not her beverage of choice. Rayleigh was such a trooper and had such a good timeAlso Rayleigh has been sporting a lot of stylish new clothes thanks to Ansley and her mom Heidi. Ansley is an absolutely adorable little girl who is almost to the date 1 year older than Rayleigh. Talk about hand me down heaven. Heidi and her mom have great taste in smocking and little boutique outfits. Rayleigh is so excited about all of her new outfits to wear and what moms aren't hunting a good deal these days? Look around on EBAY, craigslist, and local yard sales and you would be amazed at the great deals you can get :) Here is Rayleigh in one of her "new" outfits.
Rayleigh is an official sitter and working on becoming a crawler. She has figured out how to get up on her knees and rock but thats about as far as we have gotten. I am praying we stay at this stage for a while because it is hard enough keeping up with her rolling around, never the less crawling around.
Before my brother went back to base in Japan, he took Rayleigh on a lil wally world trip. My baby loves to shop. She is so excited about all of her new 6 months and up toys.
Have Blessed Day!
